STUDENT CALENDAR OF EVENTS:

The ORMTA Newmarket & Area branch calendar offers students a variety of events each year, both competitive and non-competitive.

There are biannual Student Auditions (performance evaluations), Branch Recitals, an Awards Festival, and Zone Competitions available to qualifying students.

Other student events include the "Canada Music Week Recital", "Music in the Mall", the "Adult Recital", and the "Anything Goes Recital".  The branch also hosts two special fundraisers... the "Student Showcase" and the "Teachers' Recital".

Most branch teachers also encourage student participation in local music festivals, as well as the examinations of Conservatory Canada and/or the Royal Conservatory of Music.
