Lisa Barkey Thiessen, ARCT, B.Mus., M.Mus.

Lisa Barkey Thiessen began her professional studies at The University of Western Ontario and graduated with a Bachelor of Music (Honours) degree.  She completed graduate studies in piano pedagogy and performance at Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey.

Mrs. Thiessen currently has a private studio in Bradford, Ontario, and is a member of the RCM College of Examiners.  Previously, she was an adjunct professor at Tyndale University College and Seminary in Toronto.  She also was supervising co-editor of Conservatory Canada’s New Millennium Piano Series (1999).  Mrs. Thiessen is active as an adjudicator, examiner and clinician across Canada.
